Bridgwater Angling Association is dedicated to work towards providing a positive and memorable fishing experience for all. We are working hard to make sure that the Association grows it membership while encouraging and training the next generation of Anglers.
Club history
Bridgwater Angling Association is proud to have been founded back in 1905. Over the years the Association has managed to purchase several venues namely Combwich Ponds back in 1969 and more recently completing the Dunwear Ponds Purchase in 2018 and continues to work with closely with organisations to promote our sport and maintain the beautiful venues cover by the yearly membership.
Bridgwater Angling Association also manages the Somerset Levels Angling Club (SLAC), this give Bridgwater and several other local clubs access to the old Wessex federation waters across the beautiful Somerset levels.
2024 has seen Bridgwater Angling Association acquire the lease for a stretch of the Warwickshire Avon. Take a look at our waters guide to find out more.
